Accessibility Statement
Zenith is a UK editorial project based at 87 Greenleaf Avenue, Bristol, BS13 8XY.
Our purpose
Zenith creates accessible, carefully framed information about food and men’s health. We write for readers who want useful context without pressure, miracle claims or a sales pitch.
We want the website to be usable with keyboard navigation, screen readers, zoom, contrast adjustments and different input methods. We use headings, descriptive link text, labels, meaningful page titles and alternative text where an image conveys information.
Our work includes explainers, ingredient profiles, reading routes and practical questions for healthcare appointments.
Some older pages or third-party documents may not yet meet every expectation. A complex table, unusual browser setting or missing description can create a barrier, and we treat those reports as useful evidence for improvement rather than as a reason to exclude a reader.
Known considerations
Images are supplied with descriptive alternatives when they carry editorial meaning; decorative images should not add noise to assistive technology. Colour is not intended to be the only way to communicate a distinction. Text should remain readable when enlarged, although layout changes can occur at high zoom.
Embedded or linked services may have controls outside Zenith’s code. Their accessibility features and support routes are described by the provider. Downloadable documents should be checked individually, and an accessible HTML alternative can be requested where practical.
Feedback and adjustments
Tell us what prevented access, which page was involved, the technology or browser used if known, and the format that would help. Contact the editorial desk at 87 Greenleaf Avenue, Bristol, BS13 8XY or call 0117 496 0184. We aim to acknowledge feedback within 5 working days and discuss a reasonable alternative within 10 working days.
You do not need to prove a disability or provide sensitive personal information. We keep accessibility correspondence for up to 12 months so that recurring barriers can be tracked, then remove it when no longer needed.
Review and standards
We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines as a practical reference and consider the Equality Act 2010 when planning improvements. Conformance can vary by device, browser, assistive technology and third-party content, so this statement is not a claim that every page works identically in every environment.
This statement was reviewed on 5 October 2026. We will record material updates with the next review date and prioritise issues that prevent reading, navigation, contact or understanding.
Our practical checks include keyboard focus order, visible focus indicators, heading hierarchy, form labels, link purpose, readable contrast and responsive behaviour at increased text size. We also check that content remains understandable when colour is unavailable or a pointer is not used. These checks are applied during routine page changes rather than treated as a one-time certification.
Some content may come from a third-party document, embedded service or browser feature outside Zenith’s direct control. If a PDF, image description, table or control causes difficulty, please identify the page address, the assistive technology or browser involved where known, and the format that would help. Do not include sensitive personal information in an accessibility report.
Requests for an alternative format are considered individually. Plain text, a structural explanation or a different way to access the same editorial information may be offered where reasonably practicable. We aim to acknowledge a report within five working days and provide an initial response or workaround within 20 working days.
Contact the editorial desk at 87 Greenleaf Avenue, Bristol, BS13 8XY or 0117 496 0184. Readers may also ask a trusted person to contact us on their behalf. Feedback is recorded only as long as needed to investigate and improve the service, normally no longer than 24 months.
This statement was reviewed on 5 October 2026. Future reviews will consider reported barriers, browser and assistive-technology changes, and relevant UK accessibility guidance, with material updates shown through a revised date.
